Brian L. Long is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and is approved to conduct Tele-Counseling in the state of Florida. He has been fully licensed for 10+-years, and has practiced counseling for the past 15-years.
His approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Motivational Interviewing. He has worked with thousands of individuals, families, groups and couples addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal ideations, domestic violence, anger management, impulse control, abuse and neglect, oppositional and defiant behaviors, alcohol and drug addiction, autism spectrum, career coaching and transitions, life transitions, conflict resolution, social skills and communication skills.

Brian has been working in the field of career coaching and counseling for 20+ years. He has extensive knowledge and experience working with adults struggling with stress and anxiety associated with their personal and/or professional life. He has a direct and strategic approach to assist client’s with identifying and improving areas where they may be struggling.
In his 20-years of experience, he has assisted client’s with developing more self-awareness, insight and achieving their personal and or professional goals.
Consultation
Brian has 15+ years experience in the Juvenile, Superior and Probate court systems. He has testified in court as an expert witness hundreds of times. He has also coordinated and collaborated with K-12, juvenile probation, the foster care and adoptive system, group homes and other counseling agencies and counselors throughout his career.
